The spec sheet on the Caterpillar D3G XL lists a length of just over 13'. This model scales out on a 1/87 scale ruler to 13' 6". The height of a D3G XL is 8' - 9" inches this model scales out to 8' - 9". The track width on a D3G XL is 6'. This model has a track widht of 6' in 1/87 scale. The blade width on the D3G XL is 8' and this model scales out to 8 feet as well. So if you are looking for an additional 1/87 model to add to your collection this will be a perfect item to consider.
